Celebration Church has 5000 lbs of food to give to those who need it. Groceries include canned veggies, rice, beans, flour, fruit cups, applesauce, ham, beef, chicken, potatoes, carrots, apples, onions, cabage, and bread. (I hear Walmart is out of bread!) The give away will start Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Boys and Girls club.1215 Ash. And last until 1:00 or until the food is gone.

Red Cross Holds Blood Drive Following Explosion

The smoke has cleared following a deadly explosion at a grain elevator in Atchison, Kansas, but the memories of the six men killed will live on. The Exchange National Bank and American Red Cross will honor those men, as well as two others injured in the blast, with a blood drive Friday, Dec. 2, from 12:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Red Cross Needs Help

Volunteers needed!!!! With the potential flood, Red Cross will be operating a temporary shelter if needed for residents in the flood areas. If you would like to help, we need you to fill out a volunteer application. There will be a Shelter Operations/Mass Care class on Saturday at the American Red Cross office here in Atchison starting at 9 am. Let me know if you want to attend!
