Parade Kicked Off Fair

Earhart 2K/8K

Tomorrow, Saturday, July 16th, is the Amelia Earhart Annual 2K/8K Fun Run/Walk. The event is sponsored by the YMCA and kicks off at 7:30 AM. This family-

friendly race held in conjunction with the Amelia Earhart Festival begins and ends in front of the Atchison Family YMCA. The race is open to all, including strollers and wheelchairs.

4th Fireworks at Warnock

Atchison celebrated the fourth with fireworks at Warnock Lake. Cars parked all around the lake facing the dam. The festive atmosphere add to the anticipation. The clear evening made for a perfect night. About 9:45 PM the first shots went off.
